Kelly Welker Ridicules Workers

Mount Vernon, Ohio - Kelly Welker, the area manager for Mortellaro's McDonalds, has come under fire for her abusive and cruel behavior towards the employees working under her.

According to reports, Welker is known for her rash and abrasive behavior, and has been observed shouting at the children working at the restaurant, while also berating, insulting, and ridiculing them.

During one such screaming session the employee could CLEARLY SMELL ALCOHOL ON KELLY A. WELKERS BREATH! (see below)

Despite numerous complaints from both current and former employees, Brian Mortellaro, the owner of Mortellaro's McDonalds, has consistently defended Welker's actions. When asked about the allegations, Mortellaro claimed that he has known Welker for many years and that she would never behave like that.

Kelly Welker Town Drunk

Kelly A. Welker has been ARRESTED twice for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Knox County, raising concerns about her fitness to operate a vehicle. [Drunk driving convictions listed on the Knox County, Ohio website -- Public Information] This doesn't include arrests in other jurisdictions.
She was CONVICTED both times for drunk driving. She has also been ticketed for speeding on 2 different occasions. The combination of speed and alcohol while driving drunk can be deadly! So far she has lucked out and hasn't killed anyone.

Kelly Welker Schemes to Fire Gay Employee after Worker Filed Sexual Harassment Complaint

A Mortellaro McDonald's employee, who identifies as gay, reported sexual harassment by another male employee to the General Manager back in October of 2022. Despite the complaint, nothing was done for three long months, and the abuse continued. The victim finally decided to report the harassment to the area manager, Kelly Welker. However, instead of taking the complaint seriously, Ms. Welker called the victim a liar.

Her so-called "investigation" consisted of getting statements from the abuser and his siblings, who were also employees at the Mortellaro McDonald's. Ms. Welker finally suspended the abuser for a week, but it was clear that her main goal was to fire the victim. She personally cut the victim's hours in half and wrote him up for alleged violations, without conducting any investigation. The victim was eventually fired for having TikTok videos from a year earlier that Ms. Welker didn't approve of. The irony is that just a few weeks earlier, before filing the complaint with Kelly Welker, the sexual harassment victim had been given a raise for great work.

It is clear that Kelly Welker is not a good person. She used her own emotions as an excuse to hurt a young man and terminate a great employee. This incident raises serious concerns about Mortellaro McDonald's policies and procedures for dealing with sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

A complaint has been filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission with legal action to follow.
